The Forest King is the boss of Autumn Forest, the area at the top of the map. His event gives a Golden Feather.
How to beat him
Stay in the middle and attack
You fight on a narrow platform. He doesn't move, so hit him whenever you can.
Hover between the walls
Walls appear on both sides while razor leaves rise from below. Hover between the walls to dodge them. Near the end there is only one wall to hold on to.
Stand on his rocks
He drops rocks that fire spikes across the platform. Stand on a rock to avoid the spikes.

Beating him unlocks the Fancy Feast achievement. The Golden Feather is in the room with Ilda.
